POLSON — The Mission Valley Animal Shelter announced that it will be conducting a self-service Doggy Wash to raise funds for the shelter on Saturday, July 20, in the parking lot of 1st Interstate Bank in Polson. The Doggy Wash is being sponsored by Anderson Broadcasting.
Bring your dog and your camera. Shelter personnel will provide tubs, hoses, water, shampoo, towels and brushes. In addition, discounted micro-chipping will be offered. Micro-chipping your dog may save its life because of the ease of identification and quick return to owner.
This is the second annual Doggy Wash conducted by the shelter to raise funds for operations. The cost of participating is $5 plus voluntary donations to the shelter.
The event will kick off at 10 a.m.
MVAS is a privately-funded animal shelter for dogs and cats that has been in continuous operation since 1992.
