POLSON — Lake County Master Gardeners recently contributed to the John Dowdall Theatre flower display. Lake County Master Gardeners are a volunteer group that have received horticulture training through an eight-week education course designed by Montana State University Lake County Extension Office covering botany, plant physiology, soils, floriculture, vegetables, plant diseases, entomology, pest management, turf grass management, weed identification and landscape design. With the mission of extending knowledge on all of these topics through various programs and activities to interested citizens of Lake County, each year Master Gardeners select a group project that will benefit and beautify a public area for our residents to enjoy.
The Master Gardeners are thankful to the Mission Valley Friends of the Arts, Port Polson Players and Karen and Neal Lewing for allowing them to be part of beautifying the area around the John Dowdall Theatre.
