POLSON — Called the “Battle of the Badge,“ a softball tournament held June 23 pitted the Polson Police Department, the Finley Point Fire Department and the Lake County Sheriffs Office against each other for bragging rights.
The games were held on a sunny afternoon beginning at 1 p.m., and festivities included a barbecue for players and families with cotton candy for the children.
The LCSO battled Finley Point for the final game of the round robin and defeated the firefighters.
