POLSON — The Mission Valley Aquatic Center pool re-opened June 17.
Last weeks’ closure of the pool was to ensure all the small leftover jobs were taken care of before the pool’s official opening, according to aquatics director Ali Bronsdon.
She said the epoxy coating on the locker room floors needed replacement, and the facility needed to be empty for that to take place.
During the closure, workers also installed the diving board and replaced a probe for salt pool chemicals.
Now the pool will be open full time, and visitors are encouraged.
