Judge C.B. McNeil dealt with the following cases Wednesday, Dec. 21:

Michael Morigeau, 41, Ronan, had his 2009 suspended sentence for robbery, a felony, revoked and was sentenced to Montana State Prison for three years. Morigeau will receive credit for time served while in custody.

According to court documents, Morigeau violated his probation and parole multiple times between 1996 and 2007, had his probation revoked five times previously and again violated probation when he tested positive Dec. 7 for methamphetamines, THC (the active chemical component in marijuana), and oxycodone.

Dustin Walker, 28, in a change of plea, admitted committing criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony. He was found guilty and sentencing was set for Wednesday, Jan. 25, at 9 a.m.

According to court documents, charges stem from an Oct. 22 incident where a hydrocodone pill was found in Walker’s pocket after he was arrested.

John Ducharme, 61, Polson, in a change of plea, admitted driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, fourth or subsequent offense, a felony. He was found guilty, and sentencing was set for Wednesday, Jan. 25, at 9 a.m.

According to court documents, charges stem from an Aug. 27 incident when a Polson Police Officer made a traffic stop around 4 p.m. after a silver Ford Explorer turned in front of another vehicle, forcing it to brake sharply to avoid a collision. When the officer approached the Explorer, he saw Ducharme, the driver, place a beer in the center console. The passenger also had an alcoholic beverage in his hand, another in his lap and several more in the vehicle. The officer detected the odor of alcohol on Ducharme’s breath, and performed sobriety tests, which Ducharme failed. A sample of Ducharme’s breath showed he had a blood alcohol content of .249.

Judge Deborah Kim Christopher dealt with the following cases Thursday, Dec. 22:

Kenny Oldperson, 48, Arlee, had his 2010 suspended sentences for criminal endangerment, a felony, and endangering the welfare of children, a misdemeanor, revoked and was sentenced to Montana State Prison for three years for the first count and Lake County Jail for six months, two suspended, for the second count. The charges are to run consecutively.

According to court documents, Oldperson admitted to violating his probation and parole in September by failing to stop at a stop sign, using marijuana, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and refusing a breathalyzer test.

William Pounds, 66, Polson, in a change of plea, admitted committing criminal endangerment, a felony. He was found guilty, and sentencing was set for Thursday, Jan. 12, at 9 a.m.

According to court documents, charges stem from a July 19 incident where Pounds fired a .40 caliber handgun in a home during a family reunion. He then reloaded and allegedly fired at a woman and her father as they hid in a vehicle outside. When law enforcement arrived, Pounds was in the residence alone. The officers staged in two teams and Pounds was eventually tackled. A deputy noticed 11 gunshot holes in the ceiling and several spent casings.
