Valley View cow death under investigation

VALLEY VIEW — Remains of a cow killed around the end of June in Valley View were sent to a laboratory in Colorado following a necropsy by a local vet, according to Lake County Undersheriff Dan Yonkin.
Yonkin said the cow’s death was not due to animal predators.
Valley View sources say meat from the animal and many of the animal’s organs were removed.
The laboratory results may provide an answer to what happened to the cow, Yonkin said.
The case is still under investigation.
