FRENCHTOWN — Ronan’s Maidens had a great softball weekend, going 3-0 at the Frenchtown tourney. In round one, pitcher Samantha Colman led the Maidens to a 10-0 win over Anaconda in a game called after five innings due to the mercy rule. Ronan moved on to play Libby, winning 2-1 in nine innings behind Alaina Madsen’s pitching, and later beat Stevensville 10-0 in six innings with Colman back at the mound.
Ronan hosted Eureka for a doubleheader Monday and will get a few days off before playing Mission-Arlee-Charlo Tuesday, May 7.
