POLSON — Polson city staff will be coming around to residences in the city limits to pick up clean yard waste that is piled next to the street on Friday, May 17. All clean yard waste must be piled next to the street in order for us to pick it up. Please put all loose material (leaves, grass) in bags and place the bags out by the street.

Please help elderly or disabled neighbors clean up their yards and pile their yard waste by the street. If you are elderly or disabled and would like some assistance with yard cleanup, please call 883-8202, leave your name, address and telephone number and the Boy Scouts from Troop 1947 will help you out. Please get signed up as soon as you can.

The city employees will be working from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“If we run out of time, we will finish picking up piles on the following Monday,” Karen Sargeant, Polson Park Superintendent said.

When you see us out and about, please give us a friendly hello and a wave.

“Let’s all work together to make the City of Polson clean and green for a beautiful place to work, live and play,” Sargeant said.
