Justice of the Peace Chuck Wall dealt with the following cases March 25-31:
Spencer L. Dawson, 29, pleaded not guilty to an amended charge of driving without a valid driver’s license. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs.
Gloria Jane Stonechild, 43, pleaded guilty to speeding. She was found guilty and fined $30 plus $35 in court costs.
Terri Long McGillis, 54, pleaded not guilty to an amended charge of reckless driving. She was found guilty, sentenced to 90 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $300 plus $35 in court costs.
Paul Martin Peavler, 45, pleaded not guilty to an amended charge of operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, second offense. He was found guilty and sentenced to 30 days in jail with 25 suspended and credited for five days served. Peavler was also fined $600 plus $85 in court costs.
Michael Duane Kidwell, 28, pleaded guilty to driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 175 suspended, and credited for five days served. Kidwell was also fined $350 plus $35 in court costs. Additionally, Kidwell pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with 179 suspended and credited for one day served. Kidwell was also fined $400 plus $85 in court costs.
Jacob Robert Vollmert, 23, pleaded not guilty to failing to carry proof of insurance in vehicle. He was found guilty and fined $500 plus $35 in court costs.
Shonna Daisy Adams, 32, pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof of insurance in vehicle, second offense. She was found guilty and sentenced to 10 days in jail with eight suspended, and fined $350 plus $35 in court costs. If Adams can provide proof of valid insurance and six months continuous coverage by May 5, jail time will be waived.
James Leon Fink, 51, pleaded not guilty to an amended charge of disorderly conduct. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $100 plus $85 in court costs.
Casey Cash Spang, 19, pleaded not guilty to an amended offense of reckless driving. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $300 plus $35 in court costs.
Shawn D. Schlensker, 40, pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense. He was found guilty and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 179 suspended. Schlensker was also fined $400 plus $85 in court costs.
