ARLEE — Arlee’s boys basketball coach JR Camel is leaving his post to pursue other ventures, according to Arlee Superintendent George Linthicum.
“He submitted a letter that said he had other opportunities and was going to pursue them,” Linthicum said. “That’s what was read at the board meeting and that’s what was accepted. I honored that and the district honored that. It is what it is.”
Camel coached Arlee’s boys basketball team to a state championship berth last season and was set to coach track this spring.
