Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue… This British and very familiar saying conveys the list of assorted lucky items a bride should carry with her on her wedding day to ensure a happy marriage.

Though I’ve a healthy appreciation for tradition, I urge you not to leave your perfect day to “luck.”

The third annual Mission Valley Bridal Fair is a fun-filled day of everything bridal – an excellent resource for savvy brides-to-be looking to plan their perfect day.

We’ve got your definitive list of “I do” needs covered. From cakes and catering to photographers, florists, disc jockeys and more. We’ve brought them all under one roof to give our Mission Valley brides-to-be a leg up on their wedding planning.

Bring your questions, your fiancés and friends to the KwaTaqNuk Resort this Sunday, Jan. 16, for the third annual Mission Valley Bridal Fair.

Doors open at 11 a.m. For the latest in bridal fashion, be sure to watch both the 1 and 2 p.m. fashion shows. The event will conclude with a grand prize drawing valued at $1,000. All attending brides-to-be are eligible, and encouraged, to register for the grand prize while they are at the fair.

Whether you plan to dance your way down your wedding aisle or if creating a quiet, church wedding is more your style, attending the Mission Valley Bridal Fair is a great way to start planning your big day.

The Valley Journal and the KwaTaqNuk Casino Resort sponsor this annual event. For more information be sure to the read the wedding guide in this week’s Valley Journal newspaper or call (406) 676-8989.
