Judge C.B. McNeil dealt with the following case Wednesday, March 30:

James W. Ross, 24, Marysville, Wash., had his suspended sentence for theft and criminal mischief revoked. He was sentenced to the Department of Corrections for eight years with three years suspended, and also received credit for time in custody.

According to court documents, charges stem from a December 2009 incident where a Ronan police officer pulled over a Suburban for driving erratically, and discovered that the vehicle, driven by Ross, had been stolen. Ross said he was given permission to use it.

Judge Deborah Kim Christopher dealt with the following cases Thursday, March 31:

Jeremy David Amaya, 22, Polson, had his deferred sentenced for burglary, a felony, and an additional three-year deferred sentence for theft, a felony, revoked. He was sentenced to the Department of Corrections for four years for each of the felonies. The sentences will run concurrent with each other.

According to court documents, charges stem back to 2008 when Amaya and a friend stole guns and bottles of alcohol.

Dacia Tonasket, (aka Dacia Hewankorn), 31, Elmo, had her suspended sentence for criminal endangerment, a felony, revoked. She was sentenced to the Department of Corrections for five years.

According to court records, charges stem from an October 2010 incident in Elmo where several people reported Tonasket was trying to run over a man with her vehicle.
