POLSON — Polson High School’s Speech Debate and Drama team traveled to Whitefish for a meet on Dec. 11. The PHS drama competitors placed third, and the speech students earned second place in sweepstakes, or team scores.
Policy Debaters Kelsey Koberg and Logan Nutzman first place finish helped boost the speech score.
Armando Garcia and Jarrod Plant earned second place in Serious Duo Acting as did Sydney Gambrel and Laura Barta in Classical Duo Acting.
In Humorous Solo Acting, Delaney Kohler placed third followed by teammate Emmy Driscoll in sixth place. Eryn McGinnis finished fourth in Serious Solo Acting, and Molly Whitewater grabbed fifth place.
The Pirates have a break until Jan. 8 when they head to Columbia Falls for their next speech meet
