Justice of the Peace Chuck Wall dealt with the following cases from Nov. 26 - Dec. 9:
Monica Ann Vanderburg, 25, pleaded not guilty to an amended offense of criminal possession of a toxic substance. She was found guilty and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 155 suspended and credited for 25 days served. She was also charged $85 in court costs.
Crystal Marie Ferrel, 28, pleaded guilty to driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. She was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with 175 suspended, and fined $350 plus $35 in court costs. Jail time will be reduced to two days if she can provide proof of a valid driver’s license by March 1, 2011.
Kaetie Louise Howard Brown, 31, pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof of insurance, operating with expired registration, and following too closely. She was found guilty and fined a total of $300 plus $105 in court costs.
Roger Eugene Mitchell, 56, pleaded not guilty to an amended offense of reckless driving. He was found guilty and sentenced to 90 days in jail with all suspended and fined $300 plus $35 in court costs.
Lucille A. Hopkins, 71, pleaded not guilty to operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC, first offense. She was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $400 plus $85 in court costs.
Dawn Marie Tash, 30, was charged with an amended offense of driving without a valid driver’s license, expired less than 180 days. She was found guilty and sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs. She was also charged with filing to have a child less than 5 years old and less than 60 pound properly restrained. She w was found guilty and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs.
James Taylor Schauss, 25, pleaded guilty to careless driving and operating with expired registration. He was found guilty and fined $50 plus $70 in court costs. He also pleaded guilty for failing to give notice of accident by quickest means, with damage exceeding $500. He was found guilty and sentenced to 20 days in jail with all suspended. For that offense, he was fined $150 plus $35 in court costs.
Monty Raymond Hughes, 46, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, second offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with 179 suspended, and fined $400 plus $85 in court costs.
Amber Jennelle Hamm, 19, pleaded guilty to operating with expired registration. She was found guilty and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs.
She also pleaded guilty to driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. She was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs. If she can provide proof by Feb. 1, 2011, that her Washington state driver’s license has been reinstated, jail time will be waived.
Gloria Louise Lecomte, 43, pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, second offense. She was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail with 8 days suspended, and fined $350 plus $35 in court costs. If she provides six months continuous insurance on May 29, 2010, then the fine will be reduced by $100 and jail waived. She also pleaded guilty to driving without a valid driver’s license, expired more than 180 days. She was found guilty and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs.
Jonathan Wayne Snyder, 30, pleaded guilty to driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs. If he provides proof of a valid driver’s license by January 1, 2011, the charge will be reduced and jail waived.
Stanley Alan Busch, 56, pleaded guilty to reckless driving. He was found guilty, sentenced to 90 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs.
Eric Maurice McAdam, 22, pleaded not guilty to failing to carry proof of insurance in vehicle, third or subsequent offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with 173 suspended, and fined $500 plus $35 in court costs. He also pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, second offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 365 days with 351 suspended, and credited for four days served. He was also fined $1,200 plus $85 in court costs.
Dennis T. Wright, 22, pleaded not guilty to an amended offense of reckless driving. He was found guilty, sentenced to 90 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $300 plus $35 in court costs.
Stephen J. Edgar, 48, pleaded not guilty to an amended offense of reckless driving. He was found guilty and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 89 suspended, and fined $300 plus $35 in court costs.
Todd J. Campbell, 51, pleaded not guilty to an amended offense of driving without a valid driver’s license. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs.
Joseph Charles Garrison, 64, pleaded not guilty to failing to follow conditions and requirements of special permit. He was found guilty and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs.
Craig Alan Lillethun, 58, pleaded not guilty to failing to follow conditions and requirements of special permit. He was found guilty and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs.
John A. Dohrendorf, 64, pleaded not guilty to an amended sentence to reckless driving. He was found guilty, sentenced to 90 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $300 plus $35 in court costs.
Kenneth Glen Kauffman, 58, pleaded not guilty to exceeding 34,000 pounds tandem axle weight limit. He was found guilty and fined $125 plus $35 in court costs.
Jesse Lee Porter, 26, pleaded not guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $115 plus $35 in court costs.
Eric Adliajack Tilley, 37, pleaded guilty to driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 175 suspended. He was also fined $350 plus $35 in court costs. If he can provide proof of reinstated driver’s license by Jan. 6, 2011, the fine will be reduced by $100 and jail reduced to two days. Tilley also pleaded guilty to operating with expired registration. For that he was fined $50 plus $35 in court costs.
Edward Glenn White, 41, pleaded guilty to driving without a valid driver’s license, expired more than 180 days. He was found guilty and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs.
Linda Jean Price, 62, pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof of insurance in vehicle, first offense. She was fined $350 plus $35 in court costs.
