RONAN — The Maidens softball team swept a doubleheader against Florence on a rainy spring Saturday, winning the first game 6-1 and the second 15-11.
“A full team effort accomplished the win over Florence,” head coach Brad Benson said. “Each and every player made it happen.”
While the wins were a good boost for Ronan, Benson was quick to point out that Florence remains a threat.
“Coach McKay’s team is looking sharp as ever and will come back with a vengeance,” Benson said. “We have a lot of hard work ahead of us and we would like to be playing to the best of our ability come May.”
Ronan played Mission-Arlee-Charlo Tuesday and will host Hamilton Thursday.
