Editor,
I took the time to write this letter to tell about my time as a House page at the State Capitol. During this experience I learned so much. I’ve learned that some of the nicest people in Montana work at the capitol. I learned about what it takes to be a leader in our state and what an honor it is. People may grumble and whine about what each party is doing wrong or how they’re not doing a good job, but from what I’ve seen and learned from this experience, these people love and respect this state and want the very best for its people. Even though at times they may have to make tough choices, they always have each and every one of us in mind when they cast their vote.
This opportunity has shown me that everyone in this state, no matter their beliefs, race or anything else, has a love for our state. Thanks to everyone who help me and taught me through this experience.
I’ve made some friends that I will remember forever and be looking for me to run for Representative some day.
Thanks again,
Riley Dennis
