Judge Doug A. Olson dealt with the following cases Feb. 26 - March 11:
Terence M. Mousel, 24, pleaded not guilty to an amended charge of reckless driving. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $300 plus $35 in court costs.
Harry E. Vanbouchaute, III, 26, pleaded guilty to obstructing a peace officer or other public servant. He was found guilty and fined $200 plus $85 in court costs. He also pleaded guilty to theft. He was found guilty, sentenced to one day in jail, and fined $300 plus $85 in court costs.
Thomas R. Cooper, 57, pleaded guilty to owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs. Cooper also pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to one day in jail, and fined $400 plus $85 in court costs.
Casey Aaron Crist, 29, entered a no contest plea to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was sentenced to two days in jail and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs.
He also entered a no contest plea to operating a vehicle without liability insurance. He was fined $250 plus $35 in court costs. In addition, Crist entered a no contest plea to criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. He was fined $150 plus $160 in court costs.
