Justice of the Peace Chuck Wall dealt with the following cases Feb. 18-24:
Philip M. Friscia, 24, pleaded guilty to driving without a valid driver’s license. He was found guilty and sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended. Friscia was also fined $500 with $300 suspended plus $35 in court costs.
Candace Marie Anderson, 38, pleaded not guilty to an amended charge of disorderly conduct. She was found guilty and sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $100 plus $85 in court costs.
Kristine Marie Samsel, 22, pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof of insurance in vehicle, second offense. She was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 days suspended, fined $300, and charged $35 in court costs. Jail time will be waived if she provides proof of six months continuous insurance on June 22.
Tracy James Hanson, 24, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of driving without a driver’s license. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended, fined $500 with $250 suspended, and charged $35 in court costs.
Hanson also pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof of insurance, second offense. For that charge Hanson was sentenced to 10 days in jail with eight suspended, fined $500 with $150 suspended, and charged $35 in court costs.
Matthew Warren Sillivan, 40, pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof of insurance, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs.
James L. Hoskinson, pleaded guilty to possessing intoxicating substances while under the age of 21, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $600 with $400 suspended and charged $85 in court costs.
Toni Dayle Wilkerson, 34, pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, second offense. She was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail with eight suspended, fined $500 with $150 suspended, and charged $35 in court costs.
Joshua Franklin McGreevey, 22, pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $500 with $350 suspended and $35 in court costs.
Perry Joseph Penfield, 32, pleaded guilty to failing to yield right of way to a vehicle on a through highway. He was found guilty and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs.
Lorilee B. Breshears, 32, pleaded guilty to selling or providing alcoholic beverages to person under 21 years old. She was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended, fined $550 with $400 suspended, and charged $35 in court costs.
