For people who’d like to get involved in their community and their schools, local school boards need candidates.
Filing deadline is March 25, and the election will take place on May 7.
Polson has the most number of seats up for election with two one-year terms, two three-year terms and one two-year term.
Arlee has three seats, there are two positions in Charlo, one in St. Ignatius, two in Ronan, one in the Upper West Shore/Dayton district, two in Valley View, two in Salmon Prairie/Swan Lake, one in Hot Springs (joint district with Sanders County) and two in Bigfork (joint district with Flathead County.)
