Judge Justin L. Bartels dealt with the following cases May 26-June 16:
Thomas Wayne McNair, 33, pleaded guilty to an amended offense of reckless driving. He was found guilty and sentenced to four days in jail with all suspended, and fined $300 plus $35 in court costs. McNair also pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof of insurance in vehicle, first offense. He was found guilty and sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs.
Jeramy Combs, 28, pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof of insurance in vehicle, owner operator, third or subsequent offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $500 plus $35 in court costs.
Justin Tyrone Mauzey, 28, forfeited a $50 bond for operating with expired registration, failure to reregister.
David Stanly Spencer, Jr., 43, pleaded guilty to fail to carry proof of insurance in vehicle, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs. Spencer also pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 suspended (completed June 8) and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs.
Scott O’Neil Jones, 31, pleaded guilty to speeding, driving 46 mph in a posted 25 mph zone. He was found guilty and fined $60 plus $35 in court costs. Jones also pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs.
Mary Carter, 46, forfeited a $40 bond for speeding, driving 42 mph in a posted 25 mph zone.
Rusty Richardson, 43, forfeited a $20 bond for speeding, driving 35 mph in a posted 25 mph zone. He was also fined $35 in court costs.
Mary Dorothy Mayeda, 23, forfeited a $20 bond for speeding, driving 35 mph in a posted $25 mph zone.
