Justice of the Peace Chuck Wall dealt with the following cases July 15-21:

Ronnie M.L. Patten, 19, pleaded not guilty to partner or family member assault, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 365 days in jail with 364 suspended, and credited for one day served. Patten also pleaded not guilty to destruction or tampering with communication device. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $200 plus $85 in court costs.

John Trevithick, 42, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs. Trevithick also pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs.

Jessica Johnson, 33, pleaded not guilty to an amended offense of operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater. She was found guilty and sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $500 plus $85 in court costs.

Isaac Peter Wal, 20, pleaded guilty to possessing intoxication substances while under age 21, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $100 plus $85 in court costs.

Paul William Bishop, 54, pleaded guilty to speeding, going 69 mph in a posted 45 mph zone. He was found guilty and fined $60 plus $35 in court costs. Bishop also pleaded guilty to an amended offense of driving without a valid driver’s license. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs.

Robert Glenn Bruton, 21, pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof of insurance in vehicle, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs.

Eric Lee Lamberson, 19, pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof of insurance in vehicle, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs.

Jacob Lamar Coleman, 26, pleaded guilty to displaying license plates assigned to another vehicle. He was found guilty and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs.

Linda Marie McGill, 63, pleaded guilty to failing to yield right of way. She was found guilty and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs. McGill also pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense. She was sentenced to 180 days in jail with 179 suspended, and fined $400 plus $85 in court fees.
