Pioneer Days Rodeo fills stands throughout three-day event

It was standing room only during the three days of rodeo action at the Ronan Fairgrounds during this year’s Pioneer Days Open Rodeo in Ronan. Cowboys and cowgirls didn’t disappoint in providing quality old-fashioned entertainment for large crowds throughout the three-day event.
Levi Guenzler of Ronan took first in steer wrestling with a time of 4.2 seconds. Polson cowboy Wyatt Lytton finished first in the junior breakaway with a time of 3.3 seconds.
Cowgirl Stacey Jackson of Ronan clinched a first place victory in the ladies breakaway, after finishing with a time of 3.1 seconds.
In the junior barrels event, Haley O’Hern from St. Ignatius finished with a time of 17.46 to take first place.
