Justice of the Peace Chuck Wall dealt with the following cases from Dec. 9-15:
Rodney Brian McKenzie, 20, pleaded not guilty to criminal contempt. He was found guilty and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 179 suspended, and fined $100 plus $85 in court costs.
Jonathan Wayne Snyder, 31, pleaded no contest to partner or family member assault, first offense. He was sentenced to 365 days in jail, 364 suspended, and fined $300 plus $85 in court costs. He received credit for one day served.
Arle Jacobson Azure, pleaded not guilty to operating with alcohol concentration of .08 percent or greater, first offense. She received a deferred sentence of 10 days in jail, all suspended, and was fined $400 plus $85 in court costs.
Colby F. Wolfenden, 25, pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, second offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, 173 suspended, and fined $600 plus $85 in court costs.
Anthony Devon Brodie, 22, pleaded not guilty to operating with alcohol concentration of .08 percent or greater, first offense. He received a defered sentence of 180 days in jail, all suspended, and was fined $400 plus $85 in court costs.
Zachary V. Bates, 23, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $400 plus $85 in court costs. Bates also pleaded guilty to speeding, traveling 75 mph in a 60-mph zone. He was found guilty and fined $30 plus $35 in court costs. Bates also pleaded not guilty to failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs.
Joshua Allen Jenson, 31, pleaded guilty to failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs.
Marc Alan Mulcahy, 45, pleaded guilty to careless driving. He was found guilty and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs.
