Editor,
Now, according to Michael Gale, ICLEI is a “social travesty,” with the United Nations not far behind.
And to use his term, the “useful idiots,” such as the Missoula City Government, which has chosen to use ICLEI’s services for another year, must, by Mr. Gale’s inference, be some terribly misguided public servants.
Furthermore, I haven’t “denounced” anybody. I’ve merely stated disagreement, which thankfully we can all do in this great country with its First Amendment rights.
The artful sophistry Gale and Terry Backs have engaged in regarding ICLEI is exceeded only by the sheer audacity of thinking most objective people would believe it.
