The Arlee Warriors traveled to Noxon Jan. 3, where they downed the Red Devils 59-57 before shutting down the Mission Bulldogs 81-57 in a home game Saturday.
Against Noxon, Christian Haynes led the Warriors in scoring with 12 points, also tallying eight rebounds and two assists. Zack Camel and Rocky Lewis added 11 points apiece. Camel had 11 assists, three rebounds and five steals, and Lewis added five rebounds, two steals and an assist. Josh Reed contributed 10 points and eight rebounds.
When the Warriors hosted the neighboring Mission Bulldogs, Camel was on fire, turning in a triple double with 18 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds during the contest.
Lewis scored 28 points, leading Arlee to an impressive fourth-quarter rally as the Warriors outscored Mission 26-10.
Arlee is now 3-0 in conference and 6-2 overall. The Warriors face two District 14-C opponents this week, first hosting Charlo on Friday and then traveling to Pablo to take on the Two Eagle River Eagles Saturday.
