It’s a brand new year full of promise and challenges, of resolutions and changes. I’m Rich Forbis of Anderson Broadcasting, the 2013 president of the chamber. Twenty years ago, I was also president of the chamber. It shows that the chamber is into recycling. I am truly honored to be your president this year, and my hearfelt thanks go to Heather Knutson for doing a tremendous job as past president.
We have a terrific board of directors dedicated to the betterment of the Polson Chamber of Commerce. You can find a list of the directors on our website or stop by the office. We all would like to hear your comments and concerns for making your chamber better. And we are delighted that Amber Pacheco is our office manager. Please take a moment to meet her, if you haven’t already. She is sure to brighten your day.
As we start this year, if you are not aware of the various programs offered through the chamber to help your business, please feel free to call or stop in the chamber office.
On Wednesday, Feb. 6, the chamber’s general meeting will be held at noon at the KwaTaqNuk. Our speaker will be Karen Dellwo, the Ronan Chamber President. This meeting is open to the public and all are encouraged to attend to hear this important information, to network and to announce events and things happening in your business.
