Editor,

Senator Daines wants to grow our economy and support the strongest innovation ecosystem in the world. In order to meet these goals, the Senate must keep the clean energy tax credits in the budget bill.

Don’t take my word for it. Here is what John Ketchum, CEO of NextEra Energy-the nation’s biggest owner of natural gas-fired power plants and the world’s leading generator of electricity from wind and solar power says about supporting the development of renewable energy: “If we take renewables off the table, we are going to have a real power shortage problem in this country, I fear perhaps with even blackouts during scarcity intervals. We will create our own reliability problem, just by not having enough electrons to be able to satisfy all the demand we see. And we’ll lose the AI race, we’ll lose it.”

Please contact Senator Daines today to urge him to protect all the clean energy tax credits in order support his economic and innovation goals for our country. See cclusa.org/action.
