POLSON - Our fiscal year is now in the fourth quarter, and it is projected that we will meet and exceed our budget expectations. Thank you all for your continued support for our Polson Senior Community Center. We are fully committed to our mission to providing physical, educational and social support to our community of seniors. We rely on the government for their continued support of the needs of the elderly in our community, state and nation.

The board of directors meeting is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on the second Friday of each month. The meetings are open to the public. You have a voice; your opinion is welcome and respected. We are entering the third quarter of our fiscal year and are looking for volunteers to serve in leadership positions. Can you help us?
Thanks to those who come to lunch and help with pouring beverages, refilling beverages, and assisting those who are not so steady with their meal trays.
Activities:
-Bingo: Fridays open at 5:30 p.m. - play at 6 p.m.; “Playing-Card” bingo - the first and third Wednesday of each month.
-Exercise: sitting, standing or dancing M- W- F, 10:30–11:30 a.m. - video-assisted, low impact
-Pinochle: Thursdays and Mondays - 12:30-3 p.m., early birds at noon - We play 3, 4 or 5 handed.
-Pool: open table 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
-Toenail/callus clinic: May 19 - sign up required - $30
-Bowling: “no-tap” Tuesdays 1-3 p.m. - Join any time.
-Wednesday Play Day: cards, board games, kitchen table games - Invite a foursome.
-VSO (Veterans Service Officer:) first Friday and third Tuesday of each month - 9 a.m.-noon - Walk-ins OK.
-Spinning Wheelers: first Tuesday of each month - May 6 - 11 a.m.-1 p.m. - 208-520-1013
Menu (Subject to Change): lunch - $5 donation - served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
-Wednesday, May 7: burger steak, mushroom gravy, whipped potatoes, green beans, fruit salad, brownie
-Thursday, May 8: barbecue chicken, rice pilaf, mixed vegetables, coleslaw, butterscotch pudding
-Friday, May 9: hashbrown bake, salsa, sausage links, mini oranges, cake
-Monday, May 12: tomato soup, cheesy bread, 5-cup salad, cookie
-Tuesday, May 13: burger Stroganoff, pasta, peas, cheese-pear salad, cherry cheesecake
-Wednesday, May 14: chicken salad, focaccia, veggies with ranch dip, fruit
-Thursday, May 15: beef enchilada, refried bean, Tex-Mex salad, key lime bars
