POLSON — The search for a new superintendent for School District No. 23 will begin on April 25. Barbara and Bill Dean representing McPherson and Jacobson, the firm hired by the board of trustees to conduct the search, will be in town to meet with and seek input from the community about the qualifications and characteristics they desire in a superintendent.
The schedule of meetings for the Deans include:
Wednesday, April 25
• Lunch meetings with high school students, 11:15 a.m. and noon
• Focus group meeting with classified and certified staff, 3:30-4:15 PHS library
• Focus group meeting with parents, 4:30 to 5:15 p.m. PHS library
• Open forum with public, 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. PHS library
Thursday, April 26
• Meet with administration team, 7 a.m.
• Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribal Council, 10:45 a.m., Pablo
• Second focus group with staff, 3:30 to 4:15 p.m., PHS library
• Board meets with Bill and Barbara, 5:45 p.m. PHS library
(Note: Board meeting at 5 p.m. to review grievance)
