The vehicle went off a steep embankment, went airborne and came to rest on its roof. The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead upon arrival of emergency responders. The passenger, who was still belted, was transported to St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula with injuries.
