The Lady Vikings dropped a match to Hot Springs before beating Two Eagle River last week. Against the Savage Heat, Charlo lost 20-25, 20-25, 22-25.
Derika Stipe, Aspen Runkel, Laura Reich and Sienna Brown each turned in three kills for the Lady Vikings, while Reich and Alyssa Doty each had five digs of the team’s 27.
Haley Berkram led in assists with seven, and Charlo tallied a total of four aces.
The Lady Vikings went on to beat Two Eagle 25-6, 25-8, 25-8, for another conference win.
Charlo totaled 24 kills in the contest, with Hoyt and Brown tallying six apiece. Trinda Foust had two digs, and Derika Stipe led in assists with 10. Reich turned in nine aces, followed closely by Connor Smith with seven.
For the Lady Eagles, Brittany Robles, Ashley Lozeau, Tyra Michel, Selina Gerst, Kaci Ducharme, Maklit Charlo and Daryl Conko-Camel each had one kill. Charlo led in blocks with five, while Lozeau added three digs for her team.
The Lady Vikings head to the District 10-C tournament beginning Friday in Arlee.
