POLSON — Port Polson Players in association with MVFA present William Inges’s classic comedy, “Bus Stop” to begin the Players 49th season of live theatre. “Bus Stop” also kicks off the Mission Valley Friends of the Arts annual membership drive. Tax-deductible contributions help maintain and restore the beautiful log theatre building on the Polson golf course that has housed the Players since 1986.
“Bus Stop” was popular on Broadway in the 1950s and was nominated for four Tony awards with plenty of comedy, love and drama set in Grace’s Diner during a blizzard. The show runs two weekends, Nov. 10 through Nov. 19. Fridays and Saturdays curtain is at 7 p.m., with Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. For reservations call 406-883-9212 or go to portpolsonplayers.com
