POLSON — It has been a great start to the school year for Linderman students. Teachers and staff have worked hard to help students get settled into learning. One of our biggest goals to start the year is to motivate students to get to school, as we know attendance is an important factor in student achievement. In order to do this, we have started our attendance incentives. All Linderman students participated in our first all school treat recess celebrating student attendance. For the following all school attendance recesses students will need to have 90% attendance or better in order to participate. In addition, the class with the best attendance each month will be honored and get a special class prize. We realize that illness and family circumstances can interfere with attendance. This is why students will have the opportunity to earn the attendance recess every month. We will reset all attendance percentages at the beginning of each month, so every child has an opportunity to participate.
