Polson — Nieves Dubuque died surrounded by her children on Nov. 6, 2022. She was 74. She was born in Suncallo, Bolivia, on June 2, 1948, daughter of Ventura Siñani Aruquepa and Anasta Atto Ramos. She had 10 siblings.
She moved from Bolivia to Washington, D.C. and made a life with her husband and three children in the Maryland suburbs. Later the family moved to Polson where Nieves and her husband Leonard spent the rest of their years.
Nieves was very social and had a healthy sense of humor to share with all. She was creative with her hands and loved to dance and listen to all types of uplifting music.
She will be missed immensely by her family and many friends. Nieves is survived by her brother, Dionicio Siñani; her daughter, Nievecita Maraj; her sons, Daniel and Brian Dubuque; and her grandchildren, Leonidas and Valentina Maraj.
