The Charlo Lady Vikings lost to Lincoln but beat Noxon last week.
Against Lincoln, Charlo fought hard but eventually lost in five games, 25-14, 21-25, 23-25, 25-18, 7-15. The Lady Vikings totaled 35 kills, with Rachel Hoyt turning in 13 and Sienna Brown nine. Haley Berkram led in digs with 19, followed closely by Laura Reich with 17. Hoyt added 11, and Derika Stipe had 10. Stipe also had more than half of the team’s assists with 14. Jordan Ludeman racked up seven aces of the team’s 13.
Against the Red Devils, Charlo won 25-23, 25-10, 25-15, with Hoyt again leading the way in kills with nine, followed by Brown and Reich with eight apiece.
Of Charlo’s 33 digs, Aspen Runkel had eight; Hoyt seven; and Stipe six. Hoyt added four blocks, while Brown had three. Stipe led in assists with 18, and Berkram had 15. Reich contributed seven aces and Berkram six.
