News from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office
LAKE COUNTY — On May 3 at around 5:30 a.m., Lake County 911 took the report of a motorcycle colliding with a black cow on Hwy 93 near Post Creek. Emergency responders arriving on scene determined this to be a fatal accident with a single motorcyclist. The driver has been identified as Dewayne Kemp, 59, of Ronan. The deceased was transported to the State Medical Examiner’s office for autopsy. The crash is under investigation by the Montana Highway Patrol. The Sheriff’s Office would like to extend our condolences to the family and loved ones of Mr. Kemp.
