ARLEE — The Arlee Warriors lost their final home game of the season to Noxon by a score of 60-30.
Arlee drew first blood early in the game by scoring on their opening possession. From then on, it was a scoring battle.
Head coach Mike Rogers said both teams scored back and forth for the first half of the game, leading to a close score.
Unfortunately, several turnovers proved costly and the Warriors were unable to come back.
“The kids played well, but when you turn the ball over on your half of the field and they only have a short field to run on ... it was a back-and-forth game; we just turned the ball over,” Rogers said.
“Everyone did their job and we played pretty well.”
Arlee’s next challenge will be an away game versus Victor Oct. 13.
