MISSION — The Mission Bulldogs lost 36-0 against the Loyola Rams last weekend.
The Bulldogs struggled offensively, with 21 carries for 22 yards, and completed two passes on seven attempts. One resulted in a 2-yard loss, and the other in a fumble.
Defensively, however, team showed promise with two sacks and 69 tackles.
“Barret Sargent had an outstanding game,” coach Rich Ferris said. “At linebacker, he attacked downhill, met the linemen in the hole and tackled very well. He also showed excellent leadership and poise late in the game.”
Mission goes on the road Friday against Troy.
