CHARLO — The Vikings pulled out a win over Victor, 52-46, in a close Charlo homecoming game Friday.
The Vikings remain undefeated with a 6-0 record. According to MaxPreps, they are now ranked sixth in the state.
Charlo gained an astounding 482 yards on the ground with 48 carries, an average of nearly 12 yards per carry. Junior Jacen Petersen accounted for 232 of the team’s rushing yards on only 15 carries and added another 55 yards on five receptions and two touchdowns.
Defensively, the team pulled down a total of five interceptions.
Charlo heads to Superior Friday.
