SUPERIOR — The Arlee Scarlets fought hard in Superior Saturday, eventually losing 25-18, 21-25, 20-25, 25-27.
“Each girl had an outstanding moment, and (we) are building as a team each match,” head coach Brian BigSam said.
Violet Pablo led her team in aces, firing off eight perfect serves, and blocks with four. Arlee tallied 59 digs, with 13 coming from Skyla Perry, 12 from Bailey Rice and 12 from Whitney Malatare.
Mahalia Hendren racked up 15 kills, half of the team total. Bailey Rice had 13 assists and Morgan Malatare 11 for a total of 24.
The Scarlets travel to the Superior Tournament this weekend.
