POLSON — Three Lady Pirate softball players were named to the 2012 Northwestern A All-State team; five to first team All-Conference; and three to second team All-Conference. The Polson Lady Pirates are the 2012 State A softball champions, an honor they’ve claimed three years in a row.
Seniors Ashley Johnson and Shalaina Duford and junior Heidi Rausch are All-State players, as well as receiving first team All-Conference honors. Third baseman Martina Marquardt, a junior, and sophomore left-fielder Jessica Bagnell are also first team All-Conference.
Sophomore catcher Jaylin Kenney, senior first baseman Makaliah Wilson and senior second baseman Riley Kenney received second team All-Conference honors.
