In reply to a recent letter lamenting the fact that gifts available locally are all foreign made, I would like to suggest that local citizens who want to support local business establishments pay a visit to Ronan’s own Art Center on Hwy. 93. There you will find a huge gallery full of all kinds of gifts, crafts and art made exclusively here in the Mission Valley and surrounding areas by all local arts and artisans. Perhaps a lot of them are people you know. You have to see to believe all the items that are there including gift certificates for anything in the gallery, never mind all the art and pottery classes, as well as ballet, marshal arts and yoga. It’s a wonderful local business where not one, single item is made in China.
