The Lady Viking volleyball team beat St. Regis before falling to Seeley-Swan last week.
Against St. Regis, where Charlo won 25-15, 25-11, 25-12, Rachel Hoyt led her team in kills with eight and digs with seven. Derika Stipe had two blocks and seven assists. Haley Berkram wasn’t far behind with six assists, and Aspen Runkel and Laura Reich led in aces with five and four of the team’s 18.
Charlo lost 26-24, 26-24, 22-25, 25-18 to the Seeley-Swan Blackhawks, but the score doesn’t reflect the team’s effort, head coach Sheryl Kain noted.
“Actually the whole team played well — some, as you can see by the stats, had a few good moments and our team played well together,” she said. “Unfortunately, we just fell short.”
Charlo plays away games until Oct. 2, when they host Ronan.
