THOMPSON FALLS – The Ronan Maiden volleyball team traveled to Thompson Falls on Saturday, Sept. 10, where they fell 3-0 to the Bluehawks, 26-24, 25-18, 25-12. Payge DeLaurenti finished the matches with 3 aces and 12 digs, while Ashleigh Lynch picked up 7 kills.
“The ladies played together the best they have so far,” head coach Naomi Mock said. “We have things to work on and one is talking and believing in the teammate beside them.”
Mock added she needs to find the “full tilt” button, so her team can turn up their intensity in future matches. The Maidens travel to Mission on Thursday, Sept. 15.
“We are preparing as hard as we can,” Mock said. “We played them last year and learned that they have a solid team that we need to respect.”
