ARLEE — The community of Arlee kicked off the holiday season Friday evening with the return of the Parade of Lights, however this year’s event had a unique twist.
Doing their part to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19, parade organizers opted to host a “Trunk or Treat” style parade in the Arlee High School Parking lot.
“I didn’t want a bunch of people gathering because of COVID,” said event organizer Sally Cordier.
Participants handed out goodies from their cars decorated with twinkling and blinking Christmas lights as visitors walked by.
