MISSOULA — Plenty of hard work this season paid off last week for Ronan’s No. 1 boys’ singles player Hunter Shima, who fought his way to a second-place finish at the State B-C tournament. Bigfork ace Colter Mahlum won the title match, 7-6 (5), 6-1.
Overall, the Chiefs’ run ended in a three-way tie for fourth place with Loyola Sacred Heart and Troy.
B-C boys
