ST. IGNATIUS — Good Old Days parade contest results have been tallied after the July 17 event.
The Grand Prize went to Allard’s Stage Stop; and Best Original Artwork went to Stuart’s Hometown Auto.
In the clubs and organization category, first place went to Class of 1981; second place went to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office; and third place went to the Class of 1970. CB Auto Sales took first place for the novelty humorous category.
The commercial floats included Allard’s Stage Stop; Stuarts Hometown Auto; Valley Bank; Youth 12 and under; and the Malt Shop. Farm equipment included Tim Orr’s 1947 John Deer; Lazy DC Bar; Custom Car; Leroy Morin’s 1955 Chevy Bel Air; Gordon Schleip’s 1958 Ford; Coleman Hill’s Road Runner. Antique cars included Dennis Wheeler’s 1932 Ford Coup; Pat Cable’s 1937 Chevy; Gene Posivio’s GMC 100 truck.
