News from the office of Senator Tester
POLSON — U.S. Senator Jon Tester announced that $8,246,070 in relief has, so far, gone to live venues, theatres and concert halls across Montana through the Small Business Administration’s Shuttered Venue Operators Grant program. Additional grant awards are expected in the near future.
“When this pandemic hit, Montana’s live venues were the first to close their doors to help keep folks in our communities healthy, and now, more than a year later, they are among the last to reopen,” said Tester. These venues are irreplaceable, and I look forward to joining my fellow Montanans in taking in the live shows we’ve come to know and love.”
The funding will support live venues and theaters across Montana, including Polson Theatres, Inc.
