POLSON – Does splashing, sloshing, digging and diving around in the mud sound like fun to you?
Team registration is open for the first annual Bump, Set Splat Mud Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, July 17, at the Polson Fairgrounds.
The purpose of the Bump, Set Splat Mud Volleyball Tournament, which is hosted by the Boys and Girls Club of the Flathead Reservation and Lake County, is a fundraiser that will turn the rodeo arena dirt into sloppy muck-filled volleyball courts giving participants a messy and muddy way to make a difference in someone’s life.
The tournament is scheduled to begin 9 a.m. with dry camping available at the fairgrounds on Friday and Saturday night.
There is a $150 registration fee per six-person team ages 14 and up. Teams may have up to two alternate players. Start time for each team will be randomly chosen and all teams are guaranteed three round robin games along with an entrance into a single-elimination tournament.
Teams can register online at flatheadbgc.org/splat or call 406-883-0521 for more information and to register.
