RONAN — Welcome to summer. Hope you are all wearing your sunscreen and drinking lots of water.
We are running our “Senior of the Year” contest through the end of July. If you know someone who has contributed a lot to the community, recommend him/her for “Senior of the Year.” They do not have to belong to the center to qualify. Put your thinking caps on and nominate someone.
On the last Friday of each month we will be having a special “dress up day.” This month the day is Friday, June 25, and is also our “birthday dinner” celebration as well as “apron day” to honor our cooks. Please wear your favorite apron and come and eat with us.
Our menu is as follows:
— Friday, June 25: roast beef dinner, mashed potatoes, salad, dessert
— Monday, June 28: Swedish meatballs, noodles, salad, dessert
— Wednesday, June 30: fried chicken, potatoes
